The Ontario Football Alliance is announcing a last call for all nominations for the President Elect, which will be voted on October 23rd at the OFA Special Meeting.
If you have a nomination for the next OFA President, please send to Tina Turner at director ontariofootballalliance.ca by October 12th at 5pm.
Below is the Job Description for OFA President:
A/ OFA Operations - 15%
- oversee office that it meets member needs
- financial oversight
- ensure all Ontario Laws are met
B/ Leagues - 10%
-ensure membership requirements are followed
-disputes
C/ Province of Ontario - 10%
-liase with minister of sport
-answer to any complaints that are made
-ensure that are pso requirements are complete
-advocate for more provincial monies
D/ Football Canada - 10%
- ensure that Ontario Football has their place at the table
-ensure all funding opportunities from Football Canada are taken
- be a leader in policy making
-make sure that Ontario players have a clear path and opportunities to make the national teams.
E/ IFAF -10%
-ensure all opportunities for Ontario players, coaches, officals are taken
F/ Planning the growth of Football - 20%
G/ Risk Management and Policies -25%
-60 hours a week approximately spent
