FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT CANCELLED FOR SAFETY CONCERNS

It is with much regret that the decision has been made to cancel the tournament for August 13th in Hamilton for the Safety of all participants.
As of 9:00am on Friday August 12th (24 hours prior to the tournament) the Weather Network is calling for a 90% chance of Strong Thunderstorms. Our location at Bishop Ryan does not allow for a safe location for our participants to take cover in the event of lightning, as required in our emergency action plan. With such a high risk of lightning throughout the day we have made the decision to cancel the tournament for everyone's safety.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We do hope that we can continue to provide more opportunities for our teams to compete with one another in future tournaments.
Full refunds will be provided to those that have paid in full.
