Check of the story of Andy McFalls and his journey from Team Ontario to representing Team Canada in Orlando, FL.
In the summer of 2015, Offensive Linemen Andy McFalls from Mississauga, ON started a journey with Team Ontario that led him to representing his country in Orlando, FL.
McFalls first represented Ontario at the 2015 Spalding Cup in Montreal, QC leading Ontario to a Bronze Medal. Following up a strong 2015 campaign, Andy moved on to the Canada Cup tryouts, leading to him to the 2016 Red vs Black Weekend in Guelph, ON, to then being selected to the 2016 Canada Cup Roster. A dominate performance at the Canada Cup led to McFalls being named a tournament All-Star and being named to the Team Canada 2017 North American Championship Roster.
"I feel that being named to Team Ontario and subsequently participating in the Spalding Cup in 2015 and the Canada Cup in 2016 has done nothing but open doors for Andy. It had allowed him to compete at a high level while at the same time being coached by some really good coaches. His game has improved thanks in part to these factors. The other thing that comes with being on Team Ontario or Team Canada is the amount of exposure to university scouts. They are always watching the games, which in Andy's case, led to many university contacts being formed before he finally committed to the University of Guelph."
- Shawn McFalls, Father of Andy McFalls
McFalls was joined by Defensive Linemen Jacob Spencer, Defensive Linemen Dawlson Bourdages, Running Back Jacob Savoni & Linebacker Lake Korte-Moore who all followed a same path from Team Ontario: Spalding Cup to Team Canada!
