Ontario Invades Nova Scotia
2017-06-28
Glen Mills, Team Ontario Head Coach
Ontario returns to the Football Canada Cup, this year in Wolfville, NS looking to once again be named National Champions.
This July, some of the Top U18 players in Ontario will travel to Wolfville, NS in hopes of bringing home the 2017 Football Canada Cup.
Ontario (#3 Ranked) will open up the tournament taking on the Host Province, Nova Scotia (#6 Ranked). Kickoff set for 4:00PM AT on July 8th, 2017. For those unable to make the trip to Wolfville, Football Canada will have a LIVE STREAM (link will be posted on July 8th on FootballCanada.com).
Leading up to the tournament, we had the opportunity to sit down with Team Ontario Head Coach, Glen Mills, and get his thoughts on how the team has shaped up and what we can expect in July.
"Expect to see a well prepared, disciplined football football team. We will be very dynamic on the Offensive side led by two of the top Quarterbacks in the Province. As well, we will be physical on the offensive & defensive lines. Playing the host province is never easy, but we understand that whoever we play, Ontario will always have a bullseye on it's back. We believe to win you have to beat everyone, so for us, it doesn't matter. We have our sights set on being National Champions once again."
