The Ontario Football Alliance is pleased to present its first round of Positional Clinics for 2018!

The Ontario Football Alliance is pleased to roll out it's first round of Positional Clinics, as well a Introduction to Competition Clinic! 

Coaches who attend positional training workshops receive credit towards NCCP Introduction to Competition certification at positional, coordinator, and head coach levels. To proceed to the Coordinator clinic, coaches must be trained in two positions, and to ultimately receive Head Coach certification, coaches must be trained in four positions.

Ryan Clutterbuck - Introduction to Competition

Ryan Clutterbuck is the NCCP Coordinator at Ontario Football Alliance and has coached with several provincial teams (Ontario), and with the Canadian women’s national team as well. As a player (and coach) at Western, Ryan participated in five Yates Cup championships (2005, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013), and earned an O.F.C. championship with the London Beefeaters in 2012.

Irv Daymond - Offensive Line

Irv Daymond is the offensive line coach at Wilfrid Laurier University, and was inducted into Western University’s Wall of Champions in 2016. As a player, Irv enjoyed a 10-year CFL career playing offensive line for the Ottawa Rough Riders, earning league recognition as a CFL East All-Star in 1991 and 1992. Coach Daymond has worked with several provincial teams (Ontario), and is the offensive line coach for the U-16 Canadian national team.
 
Jamie Bone - Quarterbacks

Jamie Bone has been successfully coaching quarterbacks in Canada and the United States for over 30 years. A Hec Crighton trophy winner (1978), two-time Vanier Cup champion (1976 & 1977), and current Western Mustangs quarterback coach (2010-present), Coach Bone has trained some of Canada’s finest quarterbacks, including two-time OUA MVP Will Finch (2013 & 2015), and the 2017 Vanier Cup Most Outstanding Player Chris Merchant (2017).
 
Warren Craney - Linebackers

Warren Craney is the head coach at York University, and has been the head coach and defensive coordinator with the U-19 Canadian national team as well. Players under Coach Craney’s leadership have earned 4 President’s Trophies – awarded to Canada’s top defensive player – including Cory Greenwood, who went on to play in the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs.
 
Kamau Peterson - Receivers

Kamau Peterson is the offensive coordinator at York University, and has also coached receivers with the Canadian junior national team – earning a gold medal at the 2012 world championships. As a player, Kamau enjoyed a lengthy CFL career, highlighted by league awards – outstanding rookie and most outstanding Canadian – and a Grey Cup championship in 2001.

Brian Cluff - Defensive Line

Brian Cluff has been coaching (and playing) defensive line at Guelph University for over 30 years and has also worked with several provincial teams (Ontario) at the International Bowl and at the Canada Cup. As a player, Brian was a member of the Guelph Gryphons 1984 Vanier Cup championship team – and was drafted into the CFL by the Toronto Argonauts (1986). Coach Cluff also has the distinction of having been part of all four Yates Cup championships at Guelph.
