Specialist Tryout

Ontario Football in cooperation with the Guelph Gryphons will be holding a Specialist Tryout for the U18 Football Canada Cup & U16 East Challenge on April 14th.
For the first time, Ontario Football will be holding a Specialist Only tryout to help assist the final selection. Players trying out will attend the "Gryphon Football: Specialist Camp".
For the U18 Canada Cup (2001 - 2002) age group, players will be contacted Monday, April 16th, 2018 if they have been selected to the Red vs Black Weekend (April 20th - 22nd).
For the U16 East Challenge (2003 - 2004) age group, players will be contacted Monday, April 16th, 2018 if they have been selected to the Final Selection Camp (April 28th).
For the U18 Canada Cup (2001 - 2002) age group, players will be contacted Monday, April 16th, 2018 if they have been selected to the Red vs Black Weekend (April 20th - 22nd).

Non-contact Specialists Camp for Kickers/Punters and Longsnappers

University of Guelph. Alumni Stadium
Coaches will include University of Guelph Special Forces staff, active and alumni players in the CFL, and current Gryphon football specialists.
We are proud to have Coach Kick Elite Specialists as guest coaches.
Kickers will receive detailed coaching on their FG kicking, Punting and Kick-offs and long snappers will receive expert tips and instruction for their longsnapping and rush/cover skill-sets.
An integrated cross-over and competition will also be included. Film review with the coaches will complete the camp. Film from the camp will be available via dropbox after the completion of the camp.
This camp is for elite specialists from across Ontario playing football in High School/Summer Leagues.

Registration: 9:00 AM (At Alumni Stadium - University of Guelph)
Onfield Training: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
In-class Film and Lunch: 12:30 - 2:30 PM
For those athletes that will be trying out for Team Ontario participating in the Canada Cup, please register with Team Ontario and they will register you to our camp on their behalf.
