Nepean open 2014 season with name change

2014-03-19

In the 36th year of existence, Nepean has changed its name from "Redskins" to "Eagles". Click here for the full press release from Nepean President, Steve Dean.

Welcome to 2014 and the 36th year of our football Club, now officially known as the Nepean Eagles.

The full transition from the Redskins name and colours will take some time, however there will be significant obvious changes this year; website, jerseys, helmets, scoreboard, etc.

The Club will once again run houseleague Flag, competitive Girls Touch, Cheer and fall Tackle programs.  Online Registration will open on February 10th for all programs.

We continue to deliver a Mite tackle program (ages 5-7) and are looking to expand on last years success.  This year will see each Mite team wear the colours and name of one of the 2014 CFL teams with the first team being named REDBLACKS!

Once again, we thank everyone for a tremendous 2013 and look forward to an even more impressive 2014 season.

Go Eagles!
