Burlington Stampeders Annual Stamp Out Cancer Day

2015-10-02

The Burlington Minor Football Association (BMFA) is holding its annual Stamp Out Cancer fundraising event in support of the Cancer Centre at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital (JBMH).

The Stampeders Football Organization has a long standing tradition of giving back to the community and this year is no exception. On Thanksgiving Monday, October 12th, the Stamps will hold their annual “Stamp Out Cancer Event” at Nelson Stadium, in Burlington. The Atom, Pee Wee and Bantam Stampeder teams will play football games against the Cambridge Lions and Guelph Jr. Gryphons.
As always there will be plenty of fun including the half-time flag football game between the Stampeders moms; volunteers, parents, coaches and friends will hold a 50/50 draw, a Silent Auction, a BBQ. Also scheduled to attend this year is the Hamilton Tiger-Cat Street Team.
