TITLE: Administrative Assistant
START DATE: June 2017
HOURS: 30 Hours/Per Week (Monday - Friday | 9am - 3pm)

DEADLINE: May 26th, 2017

The Ontario Football Alliance is looking for an energetic and motivated Administrative Assistant. This new position has been created to meet the capacity demands of the Provincial Sport Organization. The position is required to work 30 hours per week at the office in Guelph, ON.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administrative/Office Duties including answering telephones and emails
  • Manage Online Registration System
  • Organization and maintenance of Membership and Membership relations/services
  • Maintain organizations policies and procedures
  • Provide project assistance and logistical support in planning and executing conference calls, meetings, and events in a positive, helpful and professional manner.
  • Provide daily admin support to the Executive Director
  • Take pride in the general appearance and tidiness of the office
  • Help mail, print, deliver and pickup office related items on an as needed basis
  • General Accounting

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proven capability of learning new systems quickly, taking initiative to be productive and self-motivated
  • Strong commitment to excellence in customer service
  • Provide professional and courteous communication to membership and partners
  • Competent at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and seeing each through to timely completion
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality
 
ADDITIONAL ASSESTS:
  • Exposure to Sport Administration
  • Excellent command of English
  • Knowledge of Online Registration Platforms and Data Management
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Understanding of the landscape of Football in the province of Ontario
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • High School or Equivalent
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Office Administration: 2 years
