Ontario to host National Tournaments this July

Ontario Football will be hosting the 2019 Football Canada Cup & Eastern Challenge this July in Kingston, ON!

 



 

Kicking off the event season is the 2019 Football Canada Cup on Sunday July 7, 2019 at Queen’s University’s Richardson Stadium in Kingston, Ontario. Last year’s runner up and second seeded Alberta will open the tournament against seventh ranked New Brunswick at 9:00 a.m. EST.

Third seeded Quebec will battle sixth ranked Manitoba at 12:00 p.m. EST. Top ranked Saskatchewan begins defence of the national championship against eighth seeded Nova Scotia at 3:00 p.m. EST while host Ontario squares off against fifth seeded British Columbia at 6:00 p.m. EST.

On the same week at the Football Canada Cup, Queen’s University will also stage the Under-16 Eastern Challenge.  The event begins on Tuesday July 9th, 2019 with defending champions and top seeded Quebec opening against fourth ranked Nova Scotia at 3:00 p.m. EST. Then, host Ontario will battle third ranked New Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. EST. The outcome of these two games will determine the matchups for Game Day 2 which will be on Friday July 12, 2019.
