Questions about the 2020 Football Canada Cup & Eastern Challenge? Check out some of the Frequently Asked Questions.

Ontario Football hold 3 Regional Selection Camps & 1 Specialist Camp during March & April. From there, the Top players are invited to the Red vs Black Weekend.
When are the Selection Camps?

Are the Selection Camps Full Equipment?
Yes, all Ontario Football Selection Camps are full equipment. Equipment is not provided by Ontario Football.
How many players make the team?
54 players are selected to the roster (40 will travel & 15 alternates).
Who are the Coaches?

When does Team Ontario practice?
At both the U18 Football Canada Cup & U16 Eastern Challenge age groups, following the Red vs Black Weekend the team does not meet again until Training Camp.
Who does Ontario Play?
In the U18 Football Canada Cup, Ontario competes against 7 other provinces including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, & Nova Scotia.
In the U16 Eastern Challenge, Ontario competes against 3 other provinces including Quebec, New Brunswick, & Nova Scotia.
Where do this year's events take place?
Each year the U18 Football Canada Cup & U16 Eastern Challenge is played in a different province. In 2020, the Football Canada Cup takes place in Vancover, BC at UBC & the Eastern Challenge takes place in Sackville, NB at Mount Allison University.
How many games are played at the tournaments?
The U18 Football Canada Cup is a 3 game tournament.
The U16 Eastern Challenge is a 2 game tournament.
How much does it cost & whats covered?
To attend the event, it costs $1,600 which covers flights, accomodations & meals. Sponsorship opportunities are avaliable to cover the cost.
