Hamilton, Ontario - Ontario Football is accepting applications for the positions of both Male and Female Provincial Flag General Manager/Head Coach.

Positions:
Male Provincial Flag General Manager/Head Coach
Female Provincial Flag General Manager/Head Coach
These positions are three year appointments that cover:
2021 Ontario Flag Football League Identification Process: Regionals and Provincials
2021 Interprovincial Flag competition
2022 Ontario Flag Football League Identification Process: Regionals and Provincials
2022 Football Canada Flag Nationals/Regionals
2023 Ontario Flag Football League Identification Process: Regionals and Provincials
2023 Football Canada Flag Nationals/Regionals
Furthermore, the successful applicants will be required to develop an identification and high performance development strategy for the Provincial Flag Teams which includes annual participation in athlete and coach development.
During the three year tenure, head coaches will work with the winning team coaching staffs of the OFFL for Senior, Under 20, Under 18 and Under 16 on identification, selection and development of the players that will form the rosters of the Provincial teams. They will also work closely with the High Performance Committee as well as the OFA staff to create a strategic plan to grow the Provincial Flag Programs.
Aside from the event commitments, the successful applicants must foster the values of the organization which includes teamwork, respect, transparency and excellence. Through their leadership skills, they must create an environment which promotes a positive safe sport experience for the athletes, coaching and support staff.
Qualifications:
Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Membership with Ontario Football (PSO)
Preferred previous experience coaching at an elite level (i.e. World/National/Provincial Championship)
NCCP Certification completion or in-progress training in NCCP Competition Development Context (Safe Contact, Making Headway in Football, Safe Sport, Making Ethical Decisions and one of the six multisport modules)
Experience in a coaching capacity for at least five years
Experience in flag football is considered and asset
