Jason Hayes to Lead Team Ontario Flag

ONTARIO FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES JASON HAYES AS NEW HC/GM FOR MALE FLAG TEAM ONTARIO

 

Hamilton, Ontario - Jason Hayes has been named the new Head Coach and General Manager for the Team Ontario Male Flag Football with Ontario Football. Jason has had a lengthy career in football, both playing and coaching the sport. 

 

Jason has coached and played in both contact and non-contact football throughout his career. His first role as a Head Coach actually began in 1995 as the Head Coach of a Flag and Touch women’s team, he remained in this role for seven years. 

 

Jason has gone on to coach a variety of teams from high-school football to most recently being the Head Coach for the Hamilton Hurricanes. He has helped build the program into a championship program that maintains consistency from year to year and turned it from an expansion program into one of the premiere organization’s. 

 

“Having a coach with the experience and success in both contact and non-contact leading our male flag program like Jason will develop the level of excellence we are striving for. Our goal is to create a sustainable and successful high performance flag program in Ontario and coach Hayes shares that vision.” says Aaron Geisler, Executive Director, Ontario Football.

 

Coach Hayes believes that athletics can play a huge role in the development of youth and he wants to make sure that as many athletes as possible are able to reap the benefits of participating in athletics. 

 

“I’m very excited about the opportunity to lead the Team Ontario program.  Primarily I want to see continued development in non contact football.  I look forward to identifying athletes who will help us bring competitive, positive growth to the game we love,” says Jason Hayes.
