NCCP Coaches Clinics Offered by the Ontario Football Alliance:
Safe Contact Clinic – All ages – “Trained” status upon completion. 1 day clinic where coaches receive 6 hours in class Safe Contact training and then 2 hours on field training.
Cost = $75.
Community Sport – Novice Coach – Age 6-12 – “Trained” status upon completion. Transitioning to be an online E-learning course. Coaches will receive a manual in the mail. Currently this program is a one day clinic to become a “Trained” Novice Coach.
Cost = $50-$75

Competition Introduction - Position Workshop - Age 13-18 – “Trained” status upon completion of course work. “Certified” status upon completion of post clinic on-site evaluation. 2 day clinic where coaches are trained in 5 modules: Make Ethical Decisions, Planning a Practice, Teaching & Learning, Analyze Performance, and Position Skills. Coaches will receive 3 hours of training in a position of their choice.
Cost = $200 ($125 for the clinic & $75 pre-paid evaluation).
Competition Introduction - Coordinator Workshop Age 13-18 – “Trained” status upon completion of course work. “Certified” status upon completion of portfolio evaluation (submitted online). 2 day clinic where coaches are trained in 5 modules: Mentor Skills, Mental Skill, Role of the Coordinator, Nutrition and Systems. Coaches must have finished at least 2 position skill modules on the same side of ball to be eligible to take this course.
Cost = $225 ($200 for the clinic & $25 pre-paid evaluation).
Competition Introduction - Head Coach Workshop – Age 13-18 – “Trained” status upon completion of course work. “Certified” status upon completion of Program Presentation (done at the clinic). 2 day clinic where coaches are trained in 4 modules: Role the Head Coach, Evaluator, Design a Yearly Training Plan, and Managing a Football Program. Coaches must have finished 4 position skill modules and 2 systems, one of which is special teams to be eligible to take this course.
Cost = $250.
