Covid-19 Safety Permitting

2021 Flag Football Updates The Ontario Football Alliance's top priority is the safety of our players, coaches, trainers, officials, volunteers, and parents.

As part of the Ontario Football Alliance’s preparation for a safe return to football, we are pleased to announce our 2021 Flag Football Program. The top priority for the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) is the safety of our players, coaches, trainers, officials, volunteers, and parents. As the provincial sport organization for all sanctioned football in Ontario, we have been and continue to be active in implementing and following the recommendations from Football Canada, as well as the Government of Ontario and Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism, and Culture Industries, (MHSTCI). In working with these organizations, we have been successful in providing policies, procedures, and structures during COVID-19 for a ‘Return to Football’ guide to help teams, leagues, and organizations transition back into the sport when it is safe to do so.

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all sports and recreation across Canada, including football in Ontario, but the OFA continues to advocate and prepare for the time when we can safely return to football.

Please stay tuned for updates throughout the initial months of 2021.

Be diligent and stay safe!!
