The Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) providing value added for 2021 members.

Hamilton, Ont. – The Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) has partnered with Watch Game Film to provide 2021 member clubs with advanced video tools and abilities.

This opportunity represents an important step to support the development of kids playing football in Ontario.  By partnering with Watch Game Film, the OFA can provide members with tools for video analysis, teaching, motivation, and assistance at no cost to the member club. Video tools will play a large roll in helping kids advance and grow their knowledge and skills through instant video replay, demonstrating more effective practices, scouting of upcoming opponents, injury prevention, and overall athlete fundamental skills and execution.

Video analysis is valuable for tracking progress in any sport and it is no different in football. By incorporating video analysis into practices coaches can take advantage of several benefits for not only the coaching staff but the athletes as well. The ability to provide instant visual feedback, track long-term progress and potentially prevent serious injuries is all possible through the proper utilization of video analysis.

The Ontario Football Alliance will also be providing FREE training to assist members in using and implementing best practices for taking professional video of their clubs and players and a training video on how to properly take that video and utilize the services from Watch Game Film along with supporting documentation.

The Ontario Football Alliance will be drawing 23 membership accounts in 2021 and 2022 for members of the OFA to take advantage of this great tool.  What does this mean for football coaches that have access to an account? It means that you will now have a powerful resource and tool to help your athletes in understanding and maximizing their learning experience. Now OFA members can video their coaches and athletes during practices and take advantage of integrating video into their regular practice workflow.

Using video has never been more advantageous than today as it provides coaches the ability to track an athletes’ progress and individual skill development through out each practice. Providing feedback, utilizing video to adjust and identify the things the athletes are doing well and the areas to provide more work on is powerful.

By recording video over time and building a library of skills and team content, coaches can use the video to show players how and where they can make improvements. Video can also serve to motivate players, as they are able to see for themselves the progress they have made. Some coaches will also use videos of professionals to show their athletes what great form or technique looks like and how they compare. Ultimately video will provide tremendous value and the Ontario Football Alliance is proud to partner with Watch Game Film.

Please stay tuned as we will be drawing member accounts in 2021 to see what members get a 1-year account, professional training on how to take proper practice and game film and detailed instructions.  There will be a draw to follow stay tuned.

Members will get access to the account for one year at no cost.  Additional members will get access to accounts in 2022 as well.

Thank you, Watch Game Film, for your support and commitment to helping kids grow!
