Ontario Football announce Planning Session and Town hall for June

OFA to bring community together to build plan for future and focus on return to football

Hamilton, Ontario - The Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) announced today the 2021 Town Hall Planning Session. The session will take place virtually over the week of June 7-12 for members and stakeholders culminating in a town hall on June 12. In light of the recent announcement from the provincial government there will be a major focus on return to football guidelines and operations.

The Ontario Football Alliance is putting together the 2021 Town Hall Planning Session in order to provide an opportunity for the football community within Ontario to discuss important topics. This will allow the community to come together and obtain updates and work cohesively to build a better plan for the future of football within the province. 

A variety of topics will be covered over the course of the Town Hall Meeting. This includes, return to football; business development; inclusive programing; football operations, delivery/development; member benefits; alignment review; and governance. 

“Bringing our membership and stakeholders together to discuss important issues about the delivery of football in the province is crucial to establishing a detailed plan of action coming out of the pandemic.” says Don Hamilton, President Ontario Football “We want to provide as many opportunities for input into the strategic planning of the organization to help drive growth in participation at the grassroots levels.”

The session will be held virtually so that the community, key stakeholders, and members are able to join and participate throughout the session.
