Hamilton, February 30/2021: Ontario Football is excited to announce a new partnership with Players Health, a risk management services firm specializing in youth sports organizations. Ontario Football will be utilizing the Player’s Health Rehab application for injury tracking/return to play and Players Health Protect application for abuse reporting available for FREE for members.

PH Protect is a dashboard for organizations to manage real-time incident reports and ensure their abuse reporting, incident protocols and policies are being followed. PH Rehab allows for better visibility into and management of injury protocols, rehab assignments, and training session monitoring. Athletes, coaches, and other participants can use PH Protect as a secure and private way to report abuse, allowing the organization to track everything in a centralized and reliable place, while coaches and medical staff can better track and manage injuries while ensuring proper return to play protocols using Rehab. In addition, Player’s Health also manages all documents and records on behalf of Ontario Football, ensuring all incidents, infuries, and abuse reports are handled properly and timely.

“The ability for our membership to utilize world class tools like Rehab and Protect are game changers for our sport. Players Health’s mobile solutions for injury tracking and risk management will position football as a leader in the sporting community.” says Aaron Geisler Ontario Football Executive Director. “Finding new and innovative solutions to create a safe sport environment for our participants is a primary focus for the organization and this partnership helps accomplish that.”

Member leagues and associations can immediately begin utilizing the tools within their association for FREE by being included in the Football Canada national insurance program. Members can reach out to ageisler ontariofootball.ca to set up a training session with Players Health.
