OFA Launches Request for Proposal for Uniform & Apparel Partnership

ONTARIO FOOTBALL LAUNCHES RFP TO SECURE A UNIFORM AND APPAREL PARTNERSHIP/CORPORATE SPONSOR

 

Hamilton, Ontario - Ontario Football launched today a Request for Proposal (RFP)  to secure a uniform and apparel partnership as well as a corporate sponsor. Ontario Football is looking to enter a minimum three year deal through this corporate sponsorship with an optional two-year extension through 2026. 

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to identify the exclusive uniform and apparel sponsor/partner for the Ontario Football Alliance as the organization is committed to providing all members with high quality active wear that is durable and meets each program's needs. 

The key dates for this Request for Proposal are listed below:

• June 18/2021 - Vendors last day to review RFP and ask questions

• June 21/2021 - Vendors to submit proposal via e-mail by 5:00pm EST

• June 22/2021 - Ontario Football management may contact vendors with questions regarding proposals

• August 6/2021 - Ontario Football management team selects a partner and communicates decision to all of the bidding organizations

 

The Ontario Football management team will work closely with the selected supplier in order to develop the exact composition of the 2021 uniform and apparel package. While Ontario Football encourages any suggestions, the following is required for the package. However, quantity and selection may vary:

• Regional ID Camp T-Shirt 

• Team Ontario T-Shirt

• Team Ontario Shorts

• Team Ontario Windbreaker/Rain Jacket

• Team Ontario Backpack

• Tackle Football Specific Uniform (Pants and Jersey)

• Flag Football Uniform (Shirt and Shorts)

 

Ontario Football will provide a fair evaluation process for all candidates and provide evaluation criteria and key principles for which they will be judged upon. Some of the criteria that will be judged:

• Place of Manufacturing

• Brand Name Recognition

• Financial Incentives to OFA and its members

• Pricing Discounts on All Uniforms, Spirit Wear, Apparel to OFA

• Commitment to Federal, Provincial and Municipal Regulations and Bylaws

• Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

• Customer Facing Designer

• Production Turnaround Time

• Delivery Time

• Quality and Creativity
